This smart little girl learns quickly, particularly when treats are involved, and she's currently mastering name recognition. Charlie enjoys her toys, especially those that soothe her teething gums, and she's great at being redirected when she tries to chew on something inappropriate. She plays happily with the resident dog and adores the cats in her foster home. With children, she's gentle and sweet, although she can be a little shy when approached quickly but will often look to her people for reassurance. Her curiosity shines when meeting new people and dogs; she prefers to have a trusted person nearby until she feels more confident. On walks, she's alert yet learning to focus, and she really forms strong bonds with her family. At night, she settles well in her crate if it's close to her people but is also a snuggly bed partner. Charlie is an intelligent, joyful puppy full of potential. With proper training and socialization, she will grow into an exceptional companion.
