About Lexie

Meet Lexie! Lexie was found as a stray and brought to the shelter, waiting for someone to claim her. Unfortunately, no one came for this sweet girl. Overwhelmed and frightened, she spent her days hiding under her bed. Now in a loving foster home, Lexie is starting to blossom. At around 10 months old and weighing 11 pounds, she’s a shy but affectionate companion. Initially, she may be reserved with newcomers but will warm up within a day once she feels secure. After that, expect to be showered with cuddles, kisses, and playful times with her toys. She walks well on a leash and is making good strides with potty training, even using the doggy door. Lexie is great with small dogs and peacefully coexists with cats. While she hasn’t met large dogs yet, a friendly canine companion may enhance her confidence. Lexie thrives in family environments where she can have companionship; she shouldn’t be left alone for more than six hours a day. Her $450 adoption fee covers her spay, vaccinations, microchip, flea medication, and nail trim. Lexie’s already come so far, but she needs a patient family to show her she is treasured and finally home. Meet-and-greets can be arranged in Westchester, Gardena, or Torrance. Ready to fall in love?
