About Solstice
Solstice is a sweet but shy young dog currently with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas. Life has been tough for her since she arrived with eight puppies, one of whom has medical issues. Now heartworm positive but on the mend, Solstice is ready to find her forever home. She's gentle, affectionate, and eager to befriend anyone she meets, though she does get nervous around new people. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she’s not comfortable around cats and would do best in a home without them. A calm environment with a consistent routine will help her come out of her shell, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t enjoy playtime or car rides—once she’s comfortable, she’ll show her playful side. Solstice is house trained and, despite her timid nature, is eager to find a loving family to call her own. If you think you could provide a nurturing environment for Solstice, she would love to meet you! Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
