About Calypso
Calypso is a special girl seeking a special kind of love. Born with cerebellar hypoplasia, often referred to as "wobbly cat syndrome," she navigates her world a bit differently. Yet, she’s full of affection and charm. Calypso has a unique appearance with her adorably squinty eyes and a half tail. She gets around well, jumps on furniture, and uses her litter box without any issues, although she may send a bit of litter flying. This affectionate feline loves to follow people, meowing and rubbing against their legs when they pause. Her needs center around a patient and understanding household. Calypso thrives in a calm environment, so she would do best without other playful animals that could startle her. She currently enjoys the company of a gentle companion and has lived harmoniously with understanding kittens. For her own comfort, she’ll flourish in a home with older children and adults who can respect her need for gentle interactions. Calypso’s chirps and hisses aren't anger—they're her way of saying she needs a moment to feel secure. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
