The park, where he enjoys the laughter and attention of kids. Although he's high-energy for about 15 minutes, he settles down afterward, making him a balanced companion. Axel is friendly with most dogs but does not get along with intact males and pays no mind to cats or deer. He's best suited for a home with older children due to his size and active nature. Axel needs a patient family to help him learn impulse control, specifically the 'sit' and 'stay' commands. He can get so excited to leave his kennel that he sometimes forgets to listen.
