About Rachel

Meet Rachel! Rachel is a 6-year-old, 22-pound Jack Russell Terrier with a gentle heart and a charming nubby tail that never seems to stop wagging. This sweet girl loves belly rubs and believes they should be celebrated like an Olympic event. Just give her a few scratches, and she’ll roll over in delight for her well-deserved prize. When Rachel first arrived at the rescue, she felt a bit nervous about all the new faces. It just takes a moment for her to warm up, but a treat can make that introduction a lot faster. Once she knows you’re one of the good humans, she turns into a loving ball of affection, eager for belly rubs and cuddles. As a true Jack Russell, Rachel adapted quickly once she realized she was safe. Affectionate and happy, she greets everyone with her little nub wag that conveys a world of emotions. Rachel needs a family that will provide her time to settle in, a cozy spot for naps, and, of course, ample belly rubs. In return, she’ll be your loyal companion, showering you with tail wags and reminding you that the best friendships are worth waiting for. Think Rachel might be the dog for you?
