Meet Maraschino! Maraschino is a one-of-a-kind sweetheart with a heart as big as her purr! This beautiful girl has already shown just how resilient she is. After coming to Anderson Humane with a severely injured back leg, Maraschino underwent an amputation to give her the happy, comfortable life she deserves. Now she's embracing her new adventure with incredible determination and a loving spirit. Maraschino absolutely adores attention and is happiest when she's curled up beside her favorite people on the couch or bed. She greets you with affection, enjoys plenty of pets, and is always ready to soak up all the love you have to offer. As she continues to recover, Maraschino is learning new ways to navigate the world. She gets around flat surfaces with ease and currently uses small stairs to reach her favorite lounging spots. Every day she becomes more confident-and recently celebrated a big milestone by climbing up onto her cat tree all by herself! This playful girl loves exploring her surroundings and is always up for a game with stuffed toys, balls, or spiral toys. When playtime is over, you'll likely find her enjoying one of her favorite meals-Sheba Grilled cat food! Maraschino gets along wonderfully with other cats and would do best with calm, gentle animal companions who prefer peaceful coexistence over roughhousing. She would thrive in a patient, understanding home that can provide any simple accommodations she may need as she continues to grow stronger. With it being only a short time since her surgery, she is still making exciting progress every day.
