Archie is a 2-month-old male Yorkshire Terrier mix weighing around 4 lbs. He has a shiny brown and chocolate coat typical of his breed. Archie is up to date on vaccinations and is a small-sized dog. Though still very young, he needs a dedicated and nurturing family to help him grow into a confident adult.

About Archie

Meet Archie! This adorable Yorkshire Terrier mix came to us after being surrendered from a puppy mill in Lancaster County. He was given up due to an underbite, which sadly made him less marketable. Puppy mills produce dogs at alarming rates, often abandoning those who don't sell easily. Adopting a survivor like Archie is a transformative step for both you and him. Everything in his new world is fresh and possibly overwhelming—from people, homes, and stairs to food bowls and toys. Archie needs an understanding adopter who can be patient and provide the guidance he requires to flourish as a confident companion. With time and positive reinforcement, he can develop into a joyful and social dog. As a sweet but shy puppy, Archie will thrive in a home that can commit to daily exercise, training, and socialization. He’ll benefit from a family dedicated to nurturing his growth into a happy adult dog. If you think you can provide that loving environment, consider applying to adopt Archie today!
