About Odie
Meet Odie! This adorable guy and his brother Garfield ended up in an overcrowded shelter, but thanks to our efforts, they’re now safe and thriving. Odie, a male, is about a year old and weighs around 12.7 pounds. While initially thought to be a Yorkie/Chi mix, he leans more towards the Jack Russell breed. It’s vital that he goes to a separate home from his brother for their well-being. Energetic and full of life, Odie's personality shines through. He enjoys being around all types of people and is friends with other dogs, often seeing himself as much larger than he is. He plays well with bigger dogs and has a playful demeanor with children. However, he might be too energetic for cats. Currently, Odie is working on his training. He’s making progress with leash walking and enjoys car rides, but he’s not fond of his crate and is quite vocal about it. He’s potty trained but still marks indoors, something that should improve post-neuter. Odie has a medium to high energy level, so an active home is essential for him. He also loves toys and is ready for any adventure you can throw his way. If you’re in search of a small dog with a vibrant personality, Odie is eager to meet you! Home and vet checks are required. Please note, no apartments as he is too energetic and vocal. He is located in Yorktown, VA, and must be adopted within a one-hour drive radius. Your new best friend is just one click away.
