She thrives on her routine, welcomes each day with a wagging tail, and delights in belly rubs. One of her favorite pastimes is rolling around in soft grass, especially when she's feeling happy. When excitement strikes, she gently picks up one of her toys, as if she can't hold in her joy. Zena is an excellent houseguest. She's fully housetrained, considerate with her belongings, and gets genuinely enthusiastic at mealtime. Above all, she's affectionate and loves being near her people, whether on the couch or in the yard. Although Zena has a few medical needs typical of a senior dog, she is currently in good spirits. She requires ongoing veterinary care due to a history of low-grade Mast Cell Tumors, a low-grade heart murmur, and arthritis, all of which are manageable. Zena is looking for a family willing to provide her with the love and regular veterinary attention she deserves. This sweet girl has much love to give and is not looking for anything extravagant—just a soft bed, a few toys, and endless belly rubs.
