About Charlie

Charlie might have a tough exterior, but don’t let that mislead you. Born on December 16, 2019, he has a story that could soften anyone’s heart. After spending years on the streets, Charlie is still adjusting to indoor life. He’s learning that kindness exists and that warm beds bring comfort, but he will thrive with a patient adopter willing to give him the time he needs to trust. A gentle soul, Charlie is FIV-positive, which means he needs a calm home with fewer animals where his health can be closely monitored. He also underwent a full-mouth dental extraction due to stomatitis, but that hasn’t affected his appetite for soft food or moistened kibble. Remarkably, he loves the company of other cats, particularly kittens, and has even taken on a protective role in his foster home. Charlie’s journey hasn’t been easy, but he deserves a loving home where he can rest and heal. He’s searching for someone who can offer compassion, comfort, and, of course, plenty of churu treats. Charlie’s adoption fee has been waived to help him find that special someone. Think you might be the one to give him a forever home? Apply today!
