Meet Bayou, a delightful puppy whose journey to finding a home is as heartwarming as it gets. Born on June 6, 2026, Bayou and his siblings came into this world under challenging circumstances. Their mother, Grace, spent months living as a stray before someone stepped in to rescue her just in time. After Bayou's birth, he faced additional challenges, as Grace was unable to care for the puppies herself. Luckily, a compassionate team of volunteers provided the round-the-clock care they needed to grow strong and healthy. Now at six weeks old, Bayou is thriving, weighing in at about 10 lbs. He is playful and social, having started to meet smaller dogs in his foster home with great success. Bayou is still learning the ropes of puppy life, and he does not yet have housetraining down, but he’s eager to learn. He gets along well with both dogs and cats, making him a great addition to a loving family with other pets. Bayou will be ready for adoption around 9 weeks of age, and he'll receive his first vaccinations before heading to his new home. This charming little guy is looking for an owner who understands the commitment and time required to raise a puppy, including attending training classes if needed.
