About Yogi
Meet Yogi! Yogi is a gentle soul, brimming with love for those he trusts. If you need a loyal companion who revels in curling up at your feet, soaking up belly rubs, and following you around, Yogi could be your ideal match. He’s a bit shy at first. Yogi thrives in a low-pressure environment where introductions are gradual. Once he’s comfortable, his affectionate nature shines. This smart dog knows commands like sit, stay, come, down, and even go to bed. He’s been practicing "drop it!" too. Yogi enjoys a laid-back lifestyle, spending his days napping nearby and occasionally surprising you with short bouts of playful energy for fetch or tug before returning for cuddles. On walks, he’s a breeze to manage and doesn’t pull. His responsiveness to treats is impressive! However, he's nervous around unfamiliar dogs; slow introductions work best. He can make dog friends with patience and has shown he can do well at the dog park, though he's not ready for every dog just yet. Yogi would thrive with an adopter who understands that confidence takes time to build. He experiences some separation anxiety and prefers being near his people, but he’s been improving. Yogi is mostly house-trained and sleeps comfortably in his crate, making consistent progress with guidance. If you're prepared to let Yogi settle in at his own pace, you'll gain a devoted friend ready to trade endless belly rubs for your unconditional companionship. Could Yogi be the missing piece of your family?
