About Montana
Meet Montana, a lively 4-month-old Mini Aussie mix, currently in the process of being transported to New England. While she travels, her journey won’t cost adopters anything extra. Montana’s backstory is heartwarming; she was previously adopted by an elderly gentleman in Tennessee who realized she would thrive in a more active environment. What luck for you that you’re getting a dog who is social, playful, and cuddly—all without needing to go to Montana to find her! Montana has a zest for life that includes running, playing, and spending time with people. As an Australian Shepherd mix, she’ll require plenty of exercise to keep her happy. A family that enjoys being active—perhaps training for marathons or being outdoors—would be ideal. She loves kids, other dogs, and even coexists nicely with cats, making her a wonderful addition for many families. While she’s still perfecting her potty training, Montana is making strides with leash walking and crate training. She’s a bundle of positive energy, and there’s little she can’t learn with a bit of guidance. All dogs, including Montana, are up to date on vaccinations and have been spayed. Professional training is strongly encouraged for all dogs to help them develop into their best selves. To adopt Montana or to learn more about her, fill out an adoption application through the Great Dog Rescue New England website. A lifetime of joy awaits her forever family.
