About Mel

Mel came to us as a stray and started out as quite the spicy little kitten, unsure about people. With time and love, he’s made wonderful strides and continues to gain confidence each day. While he can still be a bit jumpy if hands come at him too quickly, he’ll thrive with someone who understands that building trust takes patience. Once Mel feels at ease, he showcases his chatty personality and loves to engage with his people. He enjoys playing with his favorite toys and never turns down a serving of wet food. Observing his growth has been incredibly rewarding, and he’s eager to find a family that will nurture his budding confidence. If you’re looking for a sweet young cat who needs a bit of patience to reveal his affectionate side, Mel could be the perfect match for your home. He’s up to date on kitten vaccinations, microchipped, and dewormed. His neuter will be scheduled at the time of adoption, and all cats adopted through ECHS will receive an ear tip.
