Meet Hammy! This spirited young Australian Shepherd was rescued after being found with a mouth full of infected foxtails. With dental surgery behind him, he's now ready for his forever home and is feeling much better. At about 2-3 years old, he embodies the energy and intelligence often seen in herding breeds. Hammy is affectionate after he burns off some of that puppy-like energy and loves making new friends. He interacts well with dogs of all sizes and enjoys the company of young kids. However, he has a tendency to chase small animals and cats when on a leash, so a homes without cats would be ideal. Hammy is house trained and eager to please. Ready to give this loving pup a chance?
