About Gemma

Gemma is a charming Labrador Retriever mix with a striking black coat and an equally lovely personality. This sweet girl thrives on making new friends, whether they walk on two legs or four. She's friendly and attentive, always eager to be part of the action and enjoy time with her people. One of Gemma's favorite activities is going on sniffy walks, soaking up all the sights and smells. She also enjoys playing with squeaky toys and loves to curl up for cozy cuddles at the end of the day. She's housetrained, intelligent, and very food-motivated, making her a quick learner with positive reinforcement. While Gemma has a spinal condition called Tethered Cord Syndrome, she is doing well with a low-impact lifestyle. She benefits from leashed walks and rug-covered floors for traction, ideally in a home without stairs. Meet Gemma in person during our adoption hours to see her lively spirit! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
