Benny is a young Golden Retriever mix who has overcome quite the ordeal. Rescued from a ditch in scorching heat, he has a charming and tender spirit, despite having a slight limp from a previous injury. Thankfully, he's healing well and doesn't seem to be in pain, although joint supplements might benefit him. While Benny can be a bit shy at first, he blossoms into a loving companion once he trusts you. He enjoys the company of other dogs, large and small, and is great with kids, but doesn’t get along with cats. He’s house trained and has a moderate energy level, making him a fantastic indoor buddy. Benny currently has heartworm but will receive treatment through the rescue. He and his companion Kevin share a strong bond, and it’s ideal if they can be adopted together.
