Emmie is ready to bring joy to your home, but she comes with a few rules. First, she insists on cuddling and couch time—it's her favorite way to soak up love from her humans. Emmie's love for food is immense; she’s incredibly food motivated, and after being rescued from a home with 176 other dogs, it's understandable why food is so important to her. If you need a travel buddy, Emmie is your girl. Her foster dad reports that she enjoys car rides and is always ready for an adventure. While she is mostly housebroken, she could use a little guidance to get there completely, but she is crate trained. A key note: she needs to be adopted by someone in Vermont, as she recently completed her heartworm treatment, and local laws prevent relocation until she tests negative. Emmie does well with other dogs and is currently sharing her foster home with a canine brother. She loves to play fetch with tennis balls too.
