About Earl
Meet Earl. Earl is a 1-year-old, 55-pound, playful dog with an infectious spirit. Found as a stray, he faced quite a few challenges before landing at PJ’s Rescue. After two unsuccessful adoptions, he found himself on the euthanasia list, but thanks to the advocates at Friends of Minneapolis Animal Care and Control, he's been given a new lease on life. Currently under the care of Cassandra's Canine Training, Earl is working hard to build his confidence and learn what it means to be a dog again. Early on, he displayed some stress-related behaviors, like jumping and difficulty settling. However, his eagerness to learn shines through. Earl quickly took to training, picking up obedience commands and impressing everyone with his enthusiasm, particularly during recall drills. He loves to stay active and enjoys earning treats while working on tasks. With patience and structure, Earl is transforming into a loving companion. Each day, his affectionate and also goofy personality comes out more and more. As part of his adoption, he will come with one training lesson and his training equipment. Earl's journey is evidence that with time and understanding, many dogs can flourish. His bright future is waiting, and the right home could be just around the corner. What are you waiting for?
