About Karla
Meet Karla, a loving German Shepherd ready for her forever family! This affectionate girl is around 5 years old and is eager to leave behind her tough past. She was found dumped at a shipyard in November 2024, underweight and recently having had puppies. After a long wait, she’s finally ready to embrace a new life. Karla is a true people-lover. She gets along great with other dogs and cats, currently living with seven furry friends and sharing her space with them (though she might hog a bit of room!). Her favorite activities include long walks, lounging on the pool ledge, and cuddling with new puppies. Whether she’s watching TV with her people or sitting snugly outside, Karla brings joy to every moment. She’s house-trained and crate-trained, has no accidents indoors, and loves to learn, though she can be a little stubborn at times. Having a big heart, she thrives on companionship and wouldn’t do well being left alone for extended periods. Although she hasn’t barked in her time with us, her playful spirit shines through when she meets new dogs; her excitement sometimes leads her to be a bit pushy, but she quickly warms up to her new friends. Karla is ready to share her endless love with a family that provides the stability, playtime, and affection she craves. If you’re looking for a loyal and loving companion, she can’t wait to meet you!
