Daisy is an energetic 8-month-old female beagle with a bright personality. This tricolor bundle of joy has a knack for winning hearts—especially when she curls up on your lap or snuggles close with her warm, soft nose. She's settled comfortably into her foster home, mastering her house training with the help of some bell training. Now, she alerts when it’s time to go outside. Daisy thrives in a playful environment and would benefit from having another canine friend. She enjoys running, playing, and cuddling with other dogs. Though she hasn’t met cats, her high prey drive makes it wise to proceed with caution. She is great with older children but gets overly excited, so teaching her not to jump is still in progress. This playful pup has a soft spot for toys and can empty her toy box daily. Plush toys are a bit of a hazard for her, as she tends to chew them up quickly. Instead, she’s learned to love her bones and other sturdy toys, and she has an amusing obsession with stealing shoes. Crate trained and house trained, Daisy enjoys her cozy space when left alone, often curling up for a nap. While she's good on a leash, she’s still learning not to pull, particularly when distracted by other dogs or enticing scents.
