Due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, Archie’s family reached out for help because they knew he deserved more than they could provide right now. This sweet, gentle boy, who has always known the comfort of living indoors, is now tied outside, and it's been especially hard for him. At 9 years old, Archie still has so much love to give. He’s healthy and has the calm, loyal personality that comes with age. If you're looking for a dog who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Archie is your guy. He’s a giant lap dog at heart who believes cuddles are among life's greatest joys. He’s grown up around children and peacefully coexists with cats, simply ignoring them. Archie does well with other friendly dogs, especially smaller ones. He rides great in the car, enjoys being with his people, and gives the very best hugs. Archie isn’t seeking adventure—he's looking for comfort. A soft bed, a loving family, and a safe place to spend his golden years are all he wants. His family made the heartbreaking decision to ask for help because they love him enough to put his needs first.
