About Marlin
Marlin returned to foster care after his last owner felt he was too much to handle. Despite this setback, Marlin remains hopeful about finding his forever home. Since arriving at his foster, he’s shown tremendous growth and confidence. He loves water and is working hard to embrace playtime, though he hasn’t yet taken to tennis balls. Settling in surprisingly well, Marlin has good manners and is almost fully house trained. He had just one accident, and his foster reports he’s learning to manage his excitement and anxiety, though he does need a dog buddy for additional support. It seems he thrives when paired with calm, confident humans who provide structure in a stable environment. This gentle soul still feels cautious around unfamiliar faces, but his affectionate side emerges once he trusts someone. Marlin is great on a leash, responds well to commands, and enjoys playing in safe spaces. He is looking for patient adopters who understand that his trust takes time to develop, ideally in a home with dog-savvy children. With love and care, Marlin is ready to reward his new family with loyalty and affection. Make Marlin’s next chapter a happy one!
