About River Girl

River Girl lives by the motto: play hard, love hard! This energetic girl, weighing 54 pounds, is eager for an active family who seeks a fun-filled companion. River adores long walks, playing with toys in the yard, and most importantly—water. A pool makes her happiest. Once she's released some energy in the morning, River enjoys curling up with a chew toy while you work. By evening, she’s ready for another stroll and maximum cuddle time. Found as a stray in Fresno, River spent three months at the Selma shelter, even landing on the euthanasia list due to space issues. Thankfully, CCLRR rescued her, and she has been blossoming in her foster home for the past month. River is house trained and sleeps well in her crate. She's a fast learner who enjoys training sessions, and she gets along well with other dogs and even coexists happily with a cat. She’s great with kids, but families with children aged 7 and up might find her best, as she can get a bit excited. Her ideal home includes a nice yard, a pool, and an active, patient family ready for adventures and cuddles. Could River Girl be the one you’ve been waiting for?
