About Dandelion
Meet Dandelion, a young female Domestic Short Hair in search of a special home. Unlike cats who dream of cozy laps, Dandelion thrives in a working environment. She's perfect for a barn, stable, workshop, garage, or any secure outbuilding where she can really shine. As one of three barn cats looking for placement, she can help keep rodent populations in check while embracing her independent nature. Dandelion is spayed, vaccinated, and house trained. While she gets along well with other cats, she's not the best fit for homes with children. The great news is that there’s no adoption fee for barn cats; we ask only for a commitment to provide daily food, fresh water, and a safe shelter. If you believe your property could be the perfect haven for Dandelion, give the Avery Humane Society a call at 828-733-2333 to help her find the home she deserves. This could be the start of something paw-some.
