About Max
Meet Max! Max is the total package—a sweet and well-mannered boy with an ideal mix of playfulness and calmness, making him the perfect companion for any situation. Whether you're heading out for a walk or settling in for a movie night, Max is happiest when he's by your side. He would do best as the only dog in the home or with other friendly canine siblings. Incredibly sociable, Max has never met a stranger, which makes him a delight in public. However, due to his strong prey drive and love for chasing lizards and rabbits, a home without cats would suit him best. Max enjoys daily walks, playing with toys, chewing on bones, and simply relaxing next to you. He can easily keep up with your energy—ready for adventure or content to lounge around afterward. With excellent manners, Max is eager to please. He takes treats gently and knows commands like sit, stay, watch, come, and leave it. He walks beautifully on a leash, sits patiently before getting leash up, and listens attentively. Although he is crate trained, Max is so well-behaved that he doesn’t really need one. He rides quietly in the car, making him an easy companion for errands and adventures. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who is affectionate, well-trained, and eager to become part of the family, Max is waiting to meet you. He has so much love to give and is ready to create a lifetime of memories with his forever family. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
