About Carter

Meet Carter, a charming Pit Bull mix who’s eager to find her forever home. At just 2 years old, Carter was abandoned at a rehab facility when her owner left without her. Thankfully, she found her way to our care after Animal Control took her from the county shelter, and we're all smitten by her radiant smile. Carter is a fast learner and has likely been housebroken, as she keeps her kennel clean and has fantastic manners. This affectionate pup enjoys her daily walks and is quite good on a leash. She also loves the water; you can often catch her splashing around in the baby pool, zooming around with pure joy. With an upbeat personality, she gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has a heart full of love for people. Carter is looking for a home that can offer her plenty of exercise, attention, and of course, love. If your family is ready to make room for this playful and intelligent girl, don’t wait to fill out an adoption application!
