About Tula

Meet Tula! This delightful black-and-white Domestic Shorthair is almost a year old and has the sweetest personality. No longer a kitten, she still has bursts of playfulness that keep things interesting. Her petite frame combined with her gentle nature makes it hard not to fall for her. Tula has a shy side but has made amazing progress since her rescue from a hoarding situation. She thrives on gentle affection and has a unique way of asking for attention with her tiny, endearing meow, earning her the nickname "Squeaky." Tula is learning to trust and, with the right family, she will continue blossoming into the wonderful companion she is meant to be. She would thrive best in a calm environment where she can build her confidence at her own pace. Given her past, unexpected loud noises or fast movements can startle her. Tula is very social with her siblings, and she would love to be adopted with one of them, especially her favorite, Colby. If a new family already has a playful cat, that would also help her feel more secure in her new home. Tula is not seeking perfection; she's looking for someone patient who understands that building trust is a process. In return, she promises to be a gentle, affectionate friend, rewarding your kindness with quiet love. Every day with her will reveal a little more of her charming personality.
