About Mydas
Meet Mydas! Around 4 years old, he is a mixed breed with a lineage that includes Golden Retriever and American Staffordshire Terrier. His life took a major turn when one of his owners became incarcerated and the other couldn’t provide the care he needed. Mydas ended up in an outdoor kennel, which did not suit his indoor dog nature, prompting the search for a new home. He’s had experience living with other dogs, cats, and children of all ages, as well as various farm animals like chickens and ducks. Friendly with everyone, Mydas would thrive in a home with other animals, given his social background. It may take him some time to adjust to new surroundings, so patience will be key. A crate can provide him a comforting space and help with his potty training, especially since he has a knack for food and would love to explore countertops unexpectedly. Mydas enjoys car rides and is eager to accompany his future owner on adventures. Although he’s already learned commands like "Sit," "Down," and "Shake," he is keen to expand his knowledge. After experiencing considerable stress recently, he would do best with a loving and understanding family ready to include him in everyday life.
