About Max
Meet Max! This affectionate boy was adopted as a puppy, but his current life with a mom who travels frequently leaves him sad when she's away. Max thrives on love and companionship. He adores snuggling and greets you with a human-style hug when you come home. Max has a passion for play, especially when it comes to his beloved ball. His favorite pastime is fetching and retrieving it, and he even enjoys napping with it beside him. Tug of war with his stuffies and chewing on synthetic bones brings him joy too. He’s well-behaved around the house and does not destroy anything that's not his toy. He knows commands like sit, stay, and drop it, and he’s working on mastering "off." Max enjoys lounging on the couch and might sneak a nap on your bed when he can. He’s gentle and loves to be outdoors, whether it's exploring the yard, going for walks, or enjoying car rides. He gets along with other dogs, as long as they play nicely. Max would be thrilled to have a fenced yard and maybe some playful siblings. If you think you can provide the love he needs, don’t wait to apply to adopt. Max would also greatly benefit from a foster home, as it’s tough for him in boarding facilities.
