About Pun'kin
Pun'kin is a striking orange gentleman with a soulful look that hints at the heart he’s developing as he learns to feel secure. When he first joined HART, he was overwhelmed and constantly on edge. With the compassionate efforts of our Shy Angels Socialization Team, Pun'kin has made remarkable progress, surprising us daily with moments of courage and growing confidence. One of his undeniable loves? Churu! This treat is the fastest way to win his affections, and he'll relish every lick. He also enjoys being groomed and will welcome gentle pets from those he trusts. For Pun'kin, these quiet bonding moments are precious and have been wonderfully earned. As an experienced and patient adopter, you'll need to provide the space and time Pun'kin requires to ease into a new home. He thrives in calm, adult-only environments where he can adjust at his own pace. With continued love and the tailored approach practiced by our Shy Angels program, we truly believe Pun'kin will flourish and may even transform into a devoted companion. Pun'kin also has early kidney disease, well-managed with a renal diet, and he’s feeling great with this support. He gets along well with other cats, too, and when it’s quiet in the shelter at night, his playful side shines as he bats a ball or chases a toy mouse when he thinks no one is looking. This sweet boy has come so far and is ready for someone who recognizes his potential and is eager to continue his journey. To meet Pun'kin, please fill out an adoption application at hartofme.org. He requires a meeting with a Shy Angels team member for final adoption approval. Ready to make a connection? Apply today!
