About Gyda Transport

Meet Gyda, a remarkable and courageous 2-year-old dog currently in foster care through Da Vinci's Dream in Kentucky. This beautiful girl is not just known for her stunning white and cream coloring; she's also the loving mother of The Little Vikings litter — Astrid, Thora, Sigrid, and Bjorn. Gyda and her puppies faced tough times while living under abandoned trailers, doing whatever it took to survive. In a heartwarming story of motherhood, Gyda once chewed through wire that trapped her puppy, Thora, freeing her from danger and tending to her injury until help arrived. This act speaks volumes about her nurturing spirit. Despite her past, Gyda is incredibly sweet and gentle. Although she may be a bit hesitant in new situations, she quickly learns to trust and responds beautifully once she feels secure. Gyda walks well on a leash, has started potty training, and is crate trained. Now, it’s her time to find a safe, loving home where she can be protected and cherished.
