About Cooper
Meet Cooper. At just 3 years old, this adorable Yorkshire Terrier is ready for a new chapter. After a difficult transition from his previous home with an elderly couple who loved him dearly, Cooper is searching for a family who can provide the love and attention he deserves. He has kept his friendly, playful spirit despite recent changes in his life. Cooper is a social little guy who loves being around people and enjoys making new doggy friends at daycare. He particularly thrives in the company of other friendly dogs, which could help him continue building confidence. He’s still discovering the joys of the outside world, finding car rides exciting and walks to be grand adventures that he’s learning to appreciate. This cute fella can be adopted alongside his sister Izzy or separately, but we recommend a home with another friendly dog if he’s adopted alone. If you're looking for a sweet, playful companion who’s eager to dive into life’s adventures, Cooper might just be that perfect addition to your family. Cooper is a neutered male weighing close to 12 lbs. He currently lives in a foster home in Kansas City with several small dogs, an 8-year-old boy, and two adults.
