About Eliza

Meet Eliza! This adorable baby girl is a Domestic Long Hair who’s ready to embark on her new life. Having been born outside and only recently received help through our Community Cats program, Eliza is still learning about humans and will need a gentle introduction to her new environment. Expect some hiding as she acclimates; it's recommended to confine her to a small space where she can safely explore her surroundings without feeling overwhelmed. A crate can be a great option, and if you don’t have one, we can lend you one. As Eliza adjusts, she may take some time to come out of her shell, but with patience and love, you’ll soon hear her soft purrs. To help build her confidence, spend several short sessions with her every day. Offer some tasty wet food while gently petting her or feed her by hand if she’s nervous. The goal is to show her that hands aren’t something to fear. If you have another friendly cat at home, they might help her feel secure as well. Eliza is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations, and she’s looking for a loving home where she can thrive. Will you be the one to help her come out of her shell?
