Howdie is a delightful medium-sized hound mix who is ready for a loving forever home. At 2 years old, this friendly boy is not just good looking with his striking black and brindle coat, he’s also a charming companion. Howdie loves everyone he meets and gets along great with dogs of all sizes, showing his social nature every time he visits the dog park or takes a hike in the woods. Despite a rough start to life, Howdie is learning to trust and is doing well in his foster environment. He is crate-trained and house trained, and he's making good progress with leash training. Known for his friendly demeanor with strangers, he easily wins hearts wherever he goes. This wonderful dog is good with children and even cats, making him an excellent addition to a loving family. Rescued from the streets, Howdie was fortunate to find a caring volunteer who didn’t want him back out there. After a thorough medical checkup, he was neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and he’s ready to shine in a new home.
