About Mable
Mable may not be a showstopper by traditional standards, but that's not what matters to her. She's all about curling up next to you—whether you're working or binge-watching your favorite series—and enjoying a good scratch behind the ears. Having faced a tough life on the streets, Mable shows her resilient spirit. With two ears torn from fights, and a few facial scars, she's ready to embrace love in her foster home. Originally destined for a trap-neuter-return program, her sweet nature led her to choose human companionship instead. She hopped right into a volunteer's car, eager for affection. Mable is FIV positive, which means she needs a bit of extra care, but with the right home and companionship, she can thrive. It's important to note that she should ideally be the only cat in the house. While she's gentle with humans, she can still react defensively if a cat provokes her. For this reason, homes with calm dogs and older, experienced children would suit her well, but introductions should be managed carefully. Mable is about three years old, fully litter trained, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Her ideal day would include lounging, cuddles, and some playtime—perhaps with a toy wand or a tasty Churu treat. She’s looking for someone who understands her needs and is ready to create a peaceful home together. This sweet girl deserves a second chance—could you be the one to give it to her?
