About Bentley
Bentley is a charming 13-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, weighing just 7 pounds, who's seen quite a lot in his lifetime. After the passing of his elderly owner, he found himself in a shelter. Thankfully, we've brought him into our rescue to provide the medical care and love he truly deserves. When he arrived, Bentley was struggling with skin, ear, and eye infections from untreated medical issues, but he's improving with treatment. He has a condition called dry eye, meaning he needs two daily eye medications for comfort and health. Bentley’s vision is somewhat compromised, so he'll need a home that can help him navigate safely, especially around furniture. He adores leisurely walks, takes pride in his little grassy adventures, and is housebroken with excellent manners. Bentley thrives on close companionship and prefers to snuggle in laps or sit next to his people. Bentley seeks a calm home where someone can appreciate the joys of having a senior dog. Ideally, he’d be best suited to a household without very young children due to his limited sight, and caregivers should ensure he has a safe environment. Prospective adopters should be ready for his ongoing care, including his essential eye medications and regular grooming due to his Yorkshire Terrier coat. After losing his beloved owner, Bentley is ready for a forever home where love is abundant, and he can bask in comfort. If you feel you can provide this sweet soul with the care he deserves, reach out to us today!
