About RitaMaggie May

Meet RitaMaggie May, a beautiful mix of German Shepherd and Husky. Once on the kill list at a California shelter with her eight puppies, she has come a long way and is now looking for her forever home. After her puppies were adopted, she was returned for a misunderstanding regarding her behavior with chickens. Despite this, she is incredibly sweet and calm, eager to shower her people with kisses. RitaMaggie May is well-behaved on a leash and highly motivated by food, making her a quick learner when it comes to commands. She may be shy at first, but once she trusts you, her affectionate nature shines through. She gets along exceptionally well with kids, adults, cats, and dogs, although she should be kept away from chickens.
