About Penelope
Penelope is a loving companion who found herself without a home and was cared for by kind neighbors for two weeks. Recently rescued, she had been dealing with fleas that caused bare patches on her skin, but she's making great strides at the vet. At around 16 to 18 months old, Penelope is eager to be your loyal buddy and shadow. She enjoys the company of people and children and thrives around other dogs and cats. You'll find her happily lounging on the couch one moment and then racing around the yard the next, showing off her playful side. She's been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on her vaccinations, plus she's heartworm and Lyme disease negative. Although her previous owner indicated she might be food aggressive, she has been seamlessly living with six other dogs without any issues. Weighing in at 87 pounds, Penelope is a giant sweetheart ready for a forever home. If you believe you could be the right fit for this sweet girl, don't hesitate to apply!
