He's one of Alma and Bess's adorable pups, affectionately dubbed one of the “Fluffers.” This group had a tough beginning, having been surrendered from a backyard breeding and hoarding situation before finding their way to a shelter. It was heartbreaking to see them on cold concrete, but luckily they were placed into foster care, where they received the love and care they truly needed. After recovering from a bout of parvo at an emergency vet, Sherlock is now a healthy, happy, and thoughtful little guy ready to discover his forever home. He mostly sports a tricolor coat of black, brown, and white, with a distinctive white chest and feet. Known as the quiet thinker of the group, Sherlock observes before jumping into any situation, displaying a calm and easygoing nature. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even enjoys the company of cats. Fully vaccinated and neutered, he’s eating Retriever puppy food well and does great in his crate, keeping it tidy. His leash manners are excellent, and he’s well on his way to being fully potty trained. Sherlock is not one to bark excessively, making him a gentle companion. This clever little pup loves to sniff around the yard, as if he’s on a mission to solve mysteries. We believe he’s quietly analyzing his surroundings and finding clues when no one is watching.
