About Gracie
Gracie is a delightful 10-month-old spayed female Coonhound mix. Rescued from an overcrowded shelter in Southern Idaho, she exhibits a surprisingly calm demeanor for a hound. This lovable girl enjoys relaxing on the couch or hanging out with her favorite humans in the yard. Gracie can jump fences, so a sturdy six-foot barrier is needed, though she prefers staying close to her people. She’s great with other dogs, cats, and even farm animals. House trained, she happily uses a doggie door. Just a heads up—Gracie dislikes crates and can become distressed, so it’s best to avoid confining her in one. While she has a gentle spirit, it’s clear she’s endured some tough times in her past. Affectionate and sweet, Gracie thrives in a moderately active home and is excellent with children. She's just waiting for the right family to shower her with love. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
