Meet Beau. This lovable Basset Hound joined us a few months ago from a partner shelter, and his charm had his foster drooling to adopt him. However, after some soul-searching, they realized it’s time to find Beau a more suitable forever home. Beau has a few quirks. He doesn’t get along with men, even the kind and patient one in his foster home. Ideally, he should go to a home without children, where he can be the man of the house. He absolutely loves other dogs and needs a confident canine companion to help him navigate social situations. His playfulness resembles a goofy duo like Dumb and Dumber. Beau enjoys toys, does well in the crate, and considers cats as friends. He needs a very securely fenced yard and requires leash walks with a double leash until he acclimates to his surroundings, given that he’s a flight risk.
