About Ducky

Ducky is a charming 9-week-old Black Labrador Retriever from an accidental litter of 11 in George County, MS. Born into a challenging situation, she initially faced hurdles when she contracted hookworms, leading to some localized hair loss. Thankfully, with proper deworming, her coat is starting to come back, and her sweet temperament shines more than ever. Ducky, along with her littermates, is socialized and well-suited for family life, having been good with kids, dogs, and even cats. They've shown a curiosity for water, making them playful companions. Ducky is ready for transport on August 14th, arriving shortly after in locations including Hagerstown, MD, and Albany, NY. With her adoption, she'll be spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. You'll also receive a free GPS Tracker from Fi plus a 6-month subscription. Her adoption fee is $400, which covers her vetting and care. Currently at Rise & Shine Animal Rescue in Lucedale, MS, Ducky can be picked up in person for free.
