Walnut is a handsome 9-week-old brown tabby kitten with stunning swirls throughout his short coat. Right now, the world feels big and a bit intimidating for him, but he’s starting to peek out of his shell and learn to trust. Food is the quickest way to his heart; he eagerly approaches at mealtime and is beginning to enjoy gentle pets while he eats. Each day brings a bit more confidence as he discovers that good things occur around kind people. Walnut needs a patient family experienced in socializing shy kittens or one excited to learn. He’ll need time, understanding, and consistency to continue building trust at his own pace. A friendly and confident feline companion is essential for him. Having another cat to guide him will help Walnut feel secure and continue his growth into the wonderful companion he is meant to be.
