About Mako
Meet Mako, a delightful 11-year-old Domestic Short Hair who’s ready to steal your heart. After losing his long-time owner to nursing care, Mako found himself seeking a fresh start. He initially arrived shy and in discomfort due to dental issues, but after a thorough dental checkup and the removal of four painful teeth, he’s full of life again. Mako has transformed into an affectionate, playful companion who’s eager to share his love. Mako is the ultimate snuggle buddy, craving closeness and warmth. His deep, rumbling purr resonates as you pet him, and he enjoys every kind of affection—belly rubs, chin scratches, you name it. On lazy days, he loves to curl up beside you on the couch or cuddle up during the night in bed. He'll sweetly chirp when it's mealtime, letting you know when he’s hungry. An ideal home for Mako would be a calm and loving environment. He thrives in a stable atmosphere and would benefit from gentle, older children or a relaxed household. Mako previously lived with his sister and would adapt well to a friendly resident cat or dog, although energetic companions might be too much for him. Having come through a tough transition, Mako is now a healthy and content kitty. He’s fully vetted, pain-free, and ready to enrich your life with his loving nature. Could you be the one to offer this gentle senior his forever home? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
