Uncle Winston is a friendly, social 3-year-old kitty looking for his forever home. With a beefy muscular body and a soft heart, this sweet guy wouldn't hurt a fly—he's particularly fond of babies. His name comes from a group of kittens he befriended while living outside. Uncle Winston can be a bit vocal, asking where you’ve been or reminding you it's dinnertime. He eagerly greets guests like a dog, always wanting to be part of the action. Playtime, petting, or food is the quickest way to catch his attention. Once settled, he enjoys quietly watching the world from a window ledge or initiating a game of hide and seek with you. While his days mostly consist of lounging, he is an attentive companion, often following you around, resembling a personal bodyguard. He may even warn you if something’s amiss in the kitchen. Uncle Winston loves people and food, and enjoys fresh water from the faucet. He is adaptable and picks up on routines quickly. Firm head rubs and ear scritches are his ultimate favorite, showing that he thrives on connection. Although he can handle a busy household, he would do best with someone attentive to his needs, fostering a low-stress environment. Uncle Winston is FeLV+ and cannot live with other cats unless they share this condition; however, he might thrive with a canine companion or another FeLV+ cat with proper introductions. With patience and attention, he will learn to play gently and communicate effectively. Rescued from a rough winter experience, he has a calming presence that draws people close.
