About Maddox
Meet Maddox, a sweet baby boy who is about 15 weeks old and currently weighs 12 lbs. He’s thought to be a Poodle/Schnauzer mix, although that's still just a guess. Initially shy, Maddox warms up quickly and enjoys playing with toys and other dogs. He loves to have zoomies around the house but also appreciates curling up on the couch for some downtime. Currently, he’s learning to navigate stairs, preferring to be carried up and down. Maddox is doing well with crate training and is still working on house training. His new owner should be home during the day to continue his training and socialization, helping him become a confident, well-adjusted dog. As a young pup, Maddox has age-appropriate vaccines and is microchipped. He will need to be neutered at 6 months of age. Because of his age, Maddox is not suited for apartment or condo living without a private fenced yard. Until he reaches 16 weeks of age, he should avoid public places where unvaccinated dogs might be present, such as dog parks. Potential adopters must be at least 25 years old and can expect an adoption fee of $400, plus a refundable deposit of $100 for the spay/neuter procedure. Remember, adopting a puppy like Maddox saves not just one life but many, as these fees help with the care of older or special needs animals waiting for homes.
