About Peanut
Peanut has quite the story to tell. After losing his first owner at just three years old, he spent four months in a facility before being adopted again. Now, due to a change in his current family's circumstances, this sweet boy is looking for his forever home once more. Born in August 2020, Peanut is a small Cairn Terrier mix with a lovely apricot and beige coat. He thrives on companionship and has always lived harmoniously with other dogs, though he would be just as content as an only dog. Peanut has a low-to-medium energy level, enjoying leisurely naps by your side or playing with his toys, but he also loves his walks and is great on the leash. Fully house trained, he knows commands like sit, lay down, stay, wait, and leave it. This affectionate little guy forms strong bonds with his humans and is often dubbed a “velcro dog” for his desire to be near you. Though he will bark at passersby and delivery trucks as a natural alert, his heart is full of love, waiting for someone to call him their own. Your new best friend is just one click away.
