About Violet

Meet Violet! Violet, a nearly 4-month-old tuxedo girl, embodies main character energy. She made her entrance at a garden party in Detroit alongside her sister Posy, battling sickness and hunger but still managing to steal the show. Now fully recovered, this confident and friendly kitten is eager to find her forever home. Expect big purrs and affectionate face rubs from Violet. She isn’t shy about demanding attention, often climbing onto your lap or shoulder for maximum cuddles. Her love for people is as enthusiastic as her playfulness; if she’s not napping with Posy, she’s likely causing delightful mischief. Violet's lively personality suggests she'd fit well with other cats, and possibly kids and dogs given the right introductions. While she would love to find a home with her sister Posy, she’s also open to joining a household that has another playful feline companion. If you’re looking for a cat that brings joy and love right from the start, Violet is your girl! Violet is currently in a foster home. If you wish to meet her, please reach out or email adopt@ahsem.org. The adoption fee is $175, which includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and wellness care. What are you waiting for?
